A resident from Aruka in Region One was remanded to prison by Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson when he appeared before her yesterday charged with having carnal knowledge of a girl under the age of 15 years.
Kenraul Perez, 18, was not required to plead to the charge which alleges that between March 1 and 21 at Kumaka, North West District, he had carnal knowledge of a thirteen-year-old girl.
He was then remanded to prison and the matter transferred to the Mabaruma Magistrate’s Court for August 17.
