Dr Sabga had earlier expressed his deep interest in having an opportunity for dialogue with the PSC in order to scope opportunities for investments and partnerships with the private sector in Guyana, according to a press release from PSC PRO Schemel Patrick.

The PSC representatives used the opportunity to share with Dr. Sabga a multitude of new venture opportunities for consideration that are available in Guyana, especially in tourism, infrastructure and large scale farming and agriculture linked to manufacturing, the release said.

Dr. Sabga in speaking to the gathering stressed the importance of partnering and noted that Guyana has excellent resources and opportunities, but individuals and businesses involved needed to form workable partnerships and cohesive relationships.

Opportunities for the financing of new mining finds were also discussed, the release stated. The chairman of the PSC then invited the group to join the PSC and  this invitation was accepted by the chairman of ANSA McAL, the release concluded.
