Justice For All Party leader and broadcaster CN Sharma has filed a constitutional suit against Attorney General Charles Ramson for statements purportedly made by President Bharrat Jagdeo at a recent news conference in relation to the ongoing carnal knowledge trial against him.
According to the writ filed by Sharma’s attorney Nigel Hughes, his client’s right to a fair hearing as guaranteed by the Constitution has been violated “by the making and publication of statements by His Excellency the President on the 22nd day of October, 2010
