A stallholder alleged to have had a quantity of firecrackers in his possession without lawful permit was on Wednesday placed on $25,000 bail when he appeared before Magistrate Fazil Azeez at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.
The allegation against Asgar Ali, 53, of 99 West Ruimveldt, is that on November 1 at Georgetown, he had in his possession a quantity of firecrackers without obtaining a permit to have the explosives
