The Ministry of Tourism, Industry and Commerce launched Tourism Awareness Month 2010 at the Orealla Regatta and the Rockstone Fish Festival.
In Orealla, Director of the Guyana Tourism Authority Indranauth Haralsingh said that though many events have been planned for the month-long observance, the ministry expects to focus on indigenous communities like Orealla and activities native to them.
