Two gunmen today barged into the sales centre at the Gafoors Land of Canaan Complex and carted off more than 6M.
Several employees were assaulted by the gunmen who subsequently escaped in a yellow taxi. A third man was driving the car.
The incident occurred just before 2pm. Investigators from the Timehri Police station have already taken statements from the employees.
This is the second incident in the last week in which a yellow car was used by perpetrators to escape.
