PNCR presidential candidate hopeful, Dr Faith Harding this morning arrived in Guyana and says she is confident of becoming the party’s nominee for next year’s election.
Dr Harding rolled into Georgetown in style sitting in an open back BMW waving to persons on the streets as five buses with her supporters -all dressed in t-shirts with her face emblazoned on them -following.
Declaring herself to be the most “qualified” candidate, Dr Harding shrugged off the suggestion that retired brigadier David Granger is the hot favourite. She said from the feedback she has received from both overseas and home she stands a very good chance of being elected as the candidate.
“The time for the PPP has come to an end,” Dr Harding declared at the Burnham Court this morning where some of her supporters -mostly teenaged children-gathered.
She told the media that she has every intention of supporting any candidate who wins the nomination adding that her party’s stands a good chance of winning next year’s election.
Dr Harding is campaigning on the slogan `Faith brings hope and hope has faith.’
