The police today said that they are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at about 7.15 last night at Queenstown, Essequibo Coast, during which housewife Bibi Zaimoon and her 15 year-old niece were attacked and robbed by five men armed with guns.
Investigations revealed that the two victims were at home when the men entered through an open door and held them up. They made off with a quantity of jewellery, a lap top computer, a DVD player and $40,000.
