Man wounded in gas station robbery stable in Georgetown hospital

Leon Bynoe is now in a stable condition at the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH) after being wounded in the leg when a bandit hit a female pump attendant of the Mandela Texaco Gas Station behind her head with a gun before robbing her of $60,000.

Police in a release said investigations revealed that three men, one of whom was armed with a handgun, held up pump attendant Andrea Sealey, cashier Lavern Andrews and a customer Tricia Walcott and took away an undisclosed sum of cash.
