(BBC) Dominica police say they are investigating the slaying of two brothers in the southern community of Grandbay.
The two were reportedly shot by an assailant being sought by the police.
The authorities are also investigating a fire at the home of a former magistrate, thought to have been an arson attack.
The two Christmas Day murders take to 14 the number of killings on the island so far this year.
