PM spreads joy at Dharm Shala

Prime Minister, Samuel Hinds today spread the joy of the season interspersed with words of wisdom to the celebrating residents of the Dharm Shala when he visited the Home of Benevolence for all races in Albouystown,  the Government Information Agency reported.

Hinds also expressed his congratulations to Pandit Harry Ramsaroop and his daughters for hosting the luncheon every year for those that are less fortunate in society.

Meanwhile over at the Palms on Brickdam, Minister of Labour, Manzoor Nadir took time out from his family on this festive season to visit the residents of the Home so that they would not feel forgotten.  He enquired about the welfare of each person and shared a funny anecdote with a few.

Nadir also ensured that the people were fed, as he personally handed out plates of food prepared by the staff of the Palms, GINA reported.
