It is with much sadness that I have to tell her many friends in Guyana of the death on February 13 at 98 years of Ethlynde Cora Robinson née Vyfhuis, formerly of Albert Street, Alberttown.
She will be much remembered in Guyana for her sterling charity work over the decades with the YMCA, which gave her a Gold Medal; Dorcas and Christ Church.
She gave much to the land of her birth. She was a woman of great character who will be much missed in Guyana, in the United Kingdom and by all who knew her. RIP Etty
