With reference to a letter in SN dated April 22, 2010 under the caption ‘When can pension vouchers be cashed when the payable date falls on a public holiday?’ please note that the official payment date for NIS pensions is the first Monday of each month. However, if the first Monday is a national/public holiday, the next available working day, ie, Tuesday would be the day for payment of pensions.
