Lucky winners: Two persons from the second batch of winners in the Lucky Dollar Guyana Store’s ‘Early Bird Savings Promotion’ received their grocery hampers at a simple presentation at the Regent Street branch yesterday. The winners are Edward Currency, Shivanand Gajraj, Lallchand Bhuneshwar, Tricia Maria Dick, Marcus Benn, Julie Edwards, Peaola Daniels, Louella Barrow, Terrence Jaskaran and Shubana Tulsieram.
Due to time constraints, the eight other winners were unable to attend the ceremony. The ten winners received grocery hampers totalling $100,000.
The promotion began on October 2 and was aimed at assisting customers with great deals and bargains for the Christmas season.
Customers who shopped items valued $30,000 and over were eligible for entry into the drawing. The promotion will conclude on October 30.
