Leslie Amsterdam Memorial semi- final line up completed

They join Rose Hall Town Bakewell, who had already qualified for the semifinals after defeating Number 70 in their quarter-final match.

The three teams advanced after winning first innings points with Albion getting past Port Mourant, Rose Hall/Canje squeezing past West Berbice and D’Edward upsetting favourites Tucber Park.

At the Rose Hall ground, Canje, the home team batted first and scored 142 from 57.2 of their allotted 60 overs with Udesh Imrit scoring 35 and Kevin Ramdeen 23.

In reply, West Berbice were dismissed for 139 in 32 overs despite a brave 80 from Sahadeo Harripaul and 36 from Kurt Griffith.

Ramdeen claimed 4- 50 and Imrit 4-58.

At the D’ Edward ground, Tucber Park, after losing the toss, fell for 106 with Kevin Leitch 24, Andel De Jonge 23 and Romario De Jonge 23 offering some resistance.

Derick Lalsa who had taken 5-20, returned to hit a quick-fire 34, and with Kelon Jawahir (22), ensured D’ Edward reach 121 all out in 42 overs to claim first innings. Batting a second time, and with time running out to claim an outright victory, Tucber Park declared at 106 for 6 with Jamally Odle hitting 64. Lalsa completed a fine all-round match with 5-56. D’ Edward ended on 10-4 in their second innings.

Over at the Port Mourant cricket ground, Albion rattled up an impressive 183 all out with Rajendra Dasrat scoring 53. Manoj Looknauth took 4- 35 and off spinner Shailendra Shameer 3-37.

In reply, Port Mourant were dismissed for just 81. Only  Rajendra Singh 18 and Looknauth 16 reached double figures. National Under-17 left-arm spinner, Gudakesh Motie Kanhai, took  7- 31. Albion, batting a second time, were 28 without loss when play ended.

Rose Hall Bakewell will play D’ Edward at the Area ‘H’ ground in the first semifinals tomorrow while on Sunday, Albion will clash with Rose Hall/Canje at the Canje ground.
