Ron Motilall and Rashad Hussein ended the Challenges of Youth Empowerment chess tournament in joint first place after finishing with seven and one half points each.
The tournament which began on Thursday and ended on Saturday was held at the American University of Peace Studies.
The two will face off in a tie breaker match on Saturday to determine the Junior Chess King.
The winner of the clash will receive 50% sponsorship of all expenses to attend the annual Sagicor Junior Championship to be held in Barbados from August 10-13, as well as full accommodation expenses to attend the FIDE Umana Cup Chess Tournament in Trinidad and Tobago from August 14-16.
Two players, Raan Motilall and Sue-Hai Feng, were tied in third place with five and one half points each while Naitanand Singh followed with four and one half points.
Ryan Mckay and Shane Yussuf ended with four points and Anthony Drayton and Farad Baksh with three points each.
The tournament was organized by national chess champion Wendell Meusa to mark the first anniversary of the Royal Chess Academy.
