-Carwyn Holland to provide commentary on card
Guyana’s youthful boxing promoter and commentator Carwyn Holland is set to hit the big stage this weekend when he calls the action on the “Night of the Champions card at the Skatium in Fort Myers, Florida. The championship fights will see the return of former World Boxing Federation World Champion Felix Camacho, the younger brother of Hector “Macho” Camacho in action against the tough Adrian Perez in a six rounder. Guyana’s female heavyweight World International Boxing Association (WIBA) World Champion Gwendolyn “The Stealth Bomber” O’Neil will defend her title against American Crystal Davis, while heavyweight Sam Tillman tackles Lee Gilbert.

Holland, who called action in several countries on numerous fight cards, said he was looking forward to the challenge and with God’s grace, he hopes to be enlisted on the bigger networks Showtime or HBO as he develops his trade.

Holland, who hails from the mining town of Linden, is at the forefront of boxing commentary in Guyana and the wider Caribbean. He is also known for his ground breaking efforts to stage Guyana’s first World title fight.

He also manages World Boxing Association number three super bantamweight boxer Leon “Hurry Up” Moore and was responsible for Lennox “Too Sharp” Allen getting his break in North America.
