Banks DIH support for Western Tigers eight-team tourney

BK Western Tigers eight-team Football Festival has received support from beverage giants Banks DIH Limited., with Tropical Mist and Aqua Mist Artesian Water being designated the official beverages of the tournament.

At a simple ceremony at Thirst Park, Tropical Mist Brand Manager Errol Nelson made a presentation of the product to members of the BK Western Tigers Football Club.

Dexter Cush, Western Tigers secretary, expressed appreciation to the company for coming on board and supporting the tournament.
“We are extremely grateful to Banks DIH for the support given to our tournament,” Cush added.

Nelson, in brief remarks, said his company was pleased to support the Festival which will bring together some of the top teams in Georgetown.

Cush said that the eight premier clubs in Georgetown, Alpha United, Guyana Defence Force, Fruta Conquerors, Sunburst Camptown, Riddim Squad, Pele, Santos and the host Tigers will battle for top honours in the Festival which kicks off on November 24 and runs until December 5 at the Georgetown Football Club ground.

Also attending the presentation were vice president of Tigers Oselmo Peters, Tigers and National goalkeeper Derrick Carter and Banks Outdoor Events manager Mortimer Stewart.
