Rage, Scramblers and TX win Zone finals of Ivanoff Domino tourney

The Rage, Scramblers and TX domino teams out of Georgetown and the Essequibo coast recently etched their name among other zone winners in the ongoing Ivanoff Vodka National Domino tournament.

Based on the format of the countrywide competition, various playing location across the country are separated into different zones. Rage and Scramblers won the finals of Zones one and two respectively in Georgetown, while TX was successful in Zone one on the Essequibo Coast.

In Georgetown’s Zone one finals Rage secured the top spot after beating out the competition with 71 games, ahead of Exodus and Next Level who finished with 68 games each, while Scramblers won Georgetown’s Zone two with 78 games. Other Zone two finalists, Mean Machine ended with 76 games and Specialist with 65.

Meanwhile, across on the Essequibo Coast, it was TX who carted off the winnings in that areas Zone one finals as they sealed 79 games. TX cruised away with the victory over Adventure who ended with 71 games and Rocket with 70.
The Zone winners were presented with a cash prize of $10,000 each.
