GOA earmarks Lowe for 2012 Olympic Games and beyond

The Guyana Olympic Association (GOA) has earmarked female racquet wielder Trenace Lowe to participate in the 2012 Olympic Games in London and beyond.

According to reports, the GOA met recently with Lowe who Sunday night won the national women’s singles title at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall and discussed her possible participation at the games.

In order to compete in London, however, Lowe will first have to qualify at the usual qualification tournaments which will be held prior to the staging of the games.
