East Bank Essequibo resident Abdul Ghanie was the winner of the grand prize of a 100cc Jialing scooter yesterday when Automobile Power Products (Jialing Store) held the drawing of its ‘Walk in, ride out with Jialing Promotion’.
The second prize of an AC unit went to Ganesh Kissoon of Parika Backdam, while Keisha Blake of Block 22, Linden, won the third prize of a plasma TV.
Winners of the consolation prizes of mountain bikes are L. Sooklall of Greenwich Park, Essequibo; Feroz Khan of New Market Street, New Cummingsburg; Melissa Doorgen of Middle Road, La Penitence; Luke Husain of Mon Repos; and Natasha DeSantos of 599 East Ruimveldt Housing Scheme.
The promotion which was designed as an appreciation package for customers commenced on October 18 and concluded on January 18.
Customers were entered into this competition after filling out a coupon which was given to them after every purchase of $4,000 during the promotional period.
