Relatives of 23-year-old Doodnauth Persaud of La Bonne Intention (LBI), East Coast Demerara (ECD) were yesterday praying for his recovery following an accident on the LBI Public Road on Sunday night.

Reports are that around 9 pm on Sunday, Persaud, of Lot 21, Cherry  Field, LBI was on his motorcycle heading east along the LBI road when he collided with a private motor car allegedly driven by a policeman.

He was last evening nursing severe head injuries and is said to be hooked up to a life support machine.
