GRC helps nine families after losses in fires

The Guyana Relief Council (GRC) has recently assisted nine families/36 persons who have suffered losses in fires and also provided welfare help to two families.

The GRC said in a release that the recipients of such services were: Ganesh Baijnauth of Glasgow Village, East Bank Berbice; Andy Abel  of 13 “B” Field Sophia; Jermain Small of 31 Norton Street, Bagotstown; Henry Joseph of Rupununi Village, Region 9; Nicole Simon of 31 Norton Street, Bagotstown; Kathleen Rajkumar of 56 Area ‘H’ Ogle; Eulene Williams of Friendship Village, ECD; Theophilus Smith of Tucville Squatting Area; Elsa Daniels of 31 Norton Street, Bagotstown; and Sahadeo Sukdeo  of 404 Area B Lusignan, ECD.

The GRC, which marked its 17th anniversary on January 17, has expressed gratitude for the support it has received from corporate Guyana and individuals towards its charitable work.
Meanwhile, the GRC is asking other entities and individuals to join with them in bringing relief to victims of disastrous conditions here.  The company was established to offer assistance and short-term shelter to the victims of disasters.
