Courts out of session today as magistrates attend conference

The Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts will be out of session today to facilitate a conference which will be held for magistrates.

Acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry made this announcement in her court yesterday and members of the public are asked to take note.

However, clerks, and in some cases police officers for the respective courts, will be present to inform persons who were required to attend court today of their new dates.

The courts will resume usual operations on Monday.
