Man broke woman’s finger during argument

Dale Fredericks was on Wednesday charged with breaking a woman’s finger during an argument.

Fredericks pleaded not guilty to a charge of inflicting grievous bodily harm when he appeared on Wednesday before Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court. It was alleged that on April 19, he unlawfully and maliciously inflicted grievous bodily harm on Ameena Hassan. The prosecution stated that the two were engaged in an argument on the day in question and subsequently the defendant caused Hassan’s finger to be broken.

Magistrate Hamilton placed the defendant on bail in the sum of $35,000 and ordered him to return to Court One on June 9 for report and fixture.
