(Jamaica Observer) For the second time in three years, the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) has published a list of names of those wanted for alleged sex offences.
In a statement embargoed until today, the JCF said that while there have been marginal declines in sexual offences since the start of the year, it wanted to ensure that offenders, especially repeat offenders, are kept off Jamaica’s streets.
Police are appealing for members of the public to help find the men. However, police were unable to provide photographs due to the necessity of identity parades in some cases, and to protect often sensitive cases.
The names of the 12 are as follows:
Anthony Hephard
Twenty-year-old Anthony Hephard, otherwise called ‘Papa’, wanted in relation to an alleged case of carnal abuse committed on February 8, 2011. He is of dark complexion, slim build and has a scar on the left side of his face. Hephard is known to frequent downtown Kingston especially on Saturdays to peddle cloth. He is also known to frequent Olympic Gardens in Kingston.
Everton McDonald
Everton McDonald, 17, delivery man, is wanted in connection with a case of carnal abuse that occurred on December 28, 2009. He is said to be short, of dark complexion, slim build and has thick eyebrows. He frequents the East Street area of downtown Kingston.
Romeo Anthony Kelly
Romeo Anthony Kelly, 20, is wanted in relation to a case of carnal abuse committed in 2009 in the Fletcher’s Land community of central Kingston. He is of dark complexion, five feet four inches tall and has a tattoo across his upper right arm. He is known to frequent Fletcher’s Land and areas of North Street.
Marvin Hawthorne
Marvin Hawthorne, 35, who goes by the aliases ‘Mark Hawthorne’, ‘Mr Fret’ and ‘Reddy-Reddy’, is a taxi operator who is wanted in connection to a rape committed on July 21, 2008. He is of fair complexion, stout build and 5 feet 9 inches tall. He also has a scar in the centre of his forehead and thick eyebrows. He is known to frequent Studley Park Road and other areas of Allman Town.
Dimitri Hyatt
Dimitri Hyatt, 23, otherwise called ‘Bleachy’, is wanted in connection to a case of carnal abuse that was committed on December 8, 2009. He is of dark complexion, slim build and is said to be tall with bowed legs. He is frequently seen in downtown Kingston.
Junior Phipps
Junior Phipps, otherwise called ‘Shelly’, is wanted in connection with a rape committed on November 6, 2009. He is of brown complexion, slim build and has a scar from his nose to his mouth. He is seen frequently in the Bull Bay Area.
Dwayne Francis
Dwayne Francis, 27, is wanted in connection with a case of carnal abuse which was committed on June 17, 2009. He is of dark complexion, medium build and about 5 feet 7 inches tall, black hair and a long face. Francis frequents Franklyn Town.
Michael McKenzie
Michael McKenzie, 18, is wanted in connection with a case of carnal abuse which was committed on December 27, 2010. He is of brown complexion, stout build and about 5 feet 6 inches tall. His ears are both pierced. His favourite hang-out spots are Langston Road and Mountain View Avenue.
Junior Daley
Junior Daley, 17, is wanted in connection with a case of carnal abuse committed in October of 2009. Daley is tall of dark complexion, slim build and has a ‘Chinese look’. Lizard Town and Denham Town are the places he frequents most.
Kimarley Kelleyman
Kimarley Kelleyman is wanted in connection with a case of carnal abuse committed in 2009. Kelleyman is approximately five feet nine inches tall, slim build, light complexion with both ears pierced. He is often seen in the Denham Town and the Downtown Market District.
Phillip Parkinson
Phillip Parkinson, 24, is wanted for rape and indecent assault. Parkinson is about five feet five inches tall, with brown complexion, slim build, and bowed legs.
Remoll Wright
Remoll Wright is wanted for alleged carnal abuse. He goes by the alias ‘Buzzy’‚ and is known to frequent Goulbourne District and Lawrence Tavern in St Andrew. Wright is approximately five feet tall, and of brown complexion.
