Head of the Presidential Secretariat Dr Roger Luncheon said Cabinet has cleared four contracts including one for $504M for Amelia’s Ward.
According to a Government Information Agency press release, a $15.9 M contract was cleared for the construction of artillery sheds at Base Camp Stephenson, in the security sector. In the public works sector, a contract valued $36.1M was given the go ahead for the rehabilitation and construction of miscellaneous roads in regions two and three.
In addition, a contract valued $504M got the green light for building roads, drains and structures and the installation of a pure water distribution network in Amelia’s Ward, Region Ten – Three Lots; and one valued $57.5M was green-lighted for the construction of a pontoon for the National Drainage and Irrigation Authority in the agriculture sector.
