A Linden construction worker is the latest road fatality.
Carl Bentinck was struck down while riding a bicycle. Bentinck, 61, and of 1164 Central Amelia’s Ward, Linden died on the spot.
The car that hit him was coming from Amelia’s Ward and was heading to Central Mackenzie. The victim was heading in the same direction and was about to turn into Kara Kara when he was struck by the speeding car. The licence number of the car involved is PKK 3831. The car skid several hundred feet before stopping.
A father of four, Bentinck was identified by his sister Ernesta.
