The Mayor and City Council is working towards the opening of its New Stelling View Mall as part of the municipality’s commitment to investment and to develop the city of Georgetown.
According to a release from the municipality, the facility, which is located on Water Street, is set to open on July 30. The new market facility will accommodate some 75 vendors, who are “particularly excited about the possibility of new and different business opportunities presented by the facility,” the release stated.
The municipality stated that the move follows on the heels of the recent opening of the New Vendors Mall on Water Street.
The city council manages five municipal markets. However over the years the municipality has constructed other buildings and facilities which accommodate businesses.
