The Ministry of Health yesterday said that with the upcoming weekend, the Blood Bank is still at a critically low level on blood and donors are being asked to come forward.
The Ministry of Health urged regular blood donors who are eligible for donation, to come forward and donate blood at the various Blood Bank sites.
In addition, it encouraged new donors to come forward at this time. The Blood Bank is located in the compound of the Georgetown Hospital and can be accessed via the Lamaha Street entrance.
