The Ministry of Health today said that there is currently no O-negative blood in its Blood Bank and it made an urgent appeal for donors.
“The Ministry of Health Blood Bank is therefore seeking donation from persons with O- Negative blood type, both Regular and New Blood Donors to who are eligible for donation are urged to come forward and donate Blood at the various Blood Bank sites”, a statement said today.
The Blood Bank is located in the compound of the GeorgetownHospitaland can be accessed viaLamaha Street.
