Brothers-in-law stole from workplace

Two men accused of stealing $276,400 worth of items from the variety store where they worked were yesterday each admitted to bail in the sum of $100,000 by acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry.

The allegation against brothers-in-law Azan Ramjan and Hardat Rammernaught, both of 322 Goed Fortuin, West Bank Demerara, is that between June 30 and July 14 they stole a quantity of baby wipes, skin cream, a hair dye, a sports bag and other items belonging to Raju Mirpuri,
