The body of Hemchand Manram, 33 years, of Canal No. 1 Polder, WBD, was recovered at about 1100h. today in the Mazaruni River, police said.
Manram was among a group of tourists on a Jet Boat in the Mazaruni River on Monday, August 01, 2011, when the vessel sank after it became entangled with some wire ropes.
Manram’s body was found about two miles from the site of the incident, police said.
