Man remanded on charge he threatened his mother

Magistrate Hazel Octave-Hamilton remanded to prison a man accused of using threatening language to his mother, when he yesterday appeared in court to answer the charges.

The allegation against Michael Paul, 37, is that on August 9, at 52 Pike Street, Kitty, Georgetown, he made use of threatening language to Parbattie Paul thereby resulting in a breach of the peace. The unemployed man denied the charge when it was read to him in the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.
