The police say that at about 1900h last night as members of a mobile police patrol approached motor car HB 8230 which was parked along the roadway at No. 79 Village, Corriverton, Berbice, the occupants sped away in the vehicle.
The police pursued the vehicle which they caught up with at Line Path, Skeldon and the ensuing investigations led to 2 kilograms of cocaine being recovered by the police.
Four men have been arrested and the motor car detained as the investigations continue, police said.
