(De Ware Tijd) PARAMARIBO — As soon as all matters regarding the declaration of intent with Ballast Nedam are finished, there will be an international tender for the construction of the bridge across the Corantijn River. Yesterday, President Desi Bouterse stopped the construction of the Carolina Bridge and immediately terminated the contract with Ballast Nedam. Before the end of this year, there will also be an international tender to again sign a design/construct contract for this bridge. Those participating in the tender will be asked to facilitate the financing.
