The battered body of a 64-year-old security guard was this morning found at his work site located opposite Mines Services Limited at Providence.
Dead is Mohammed Haniff, an employee of Dynamics Security Services. He was apparently beaten in the head and upper body by unknown persons who broke into a container and stole items including a generator.
Mines Services Limited is constructing a bond at the location where Haniff was posted for the first time last night.
The elderly man had asked his employer to remove him from a site at Eccles since it was too lonely there.
