A passer-by yesterday morning stumbled upon skeletal remains in a clump of bushes at Weldaad Foreshore, West Coast Berbice.
Police said in a press release yesterday that around 1130 hours, the “skeletal remains of an unidentified female” were found in the bushes.
Investigations are in progress.
Stabroek News was unable to get more information from police officials. Police in that area said that they have had no recent report of any female being missing.
