Crushing injuries caused Canal death

A post-mortem examination was performed on the body of Deonauth Seegobin of Canal Number Two polder, and the cause of death was revealed as crushing of the skull and chest.

Police in a release had said that Seegobin was lying on the Canal roadway when he was run over by a motor vehicle.

Before he was run over, Seegobin, his brother and the driver of the vehicle were at a birthday party consuming alcohol.
