Registration and elections staff are expected to occupy more than 2000 polling stations that will be available at the upcoming general elections.
According to a GINA press release, Head of the Presidential Secretariat, Dr Roger Luncheon, yesterday at a post-Cabinet press briefing, stated that this is an increase over the 1,900-odd polling stations of the 2006 general elections. He also indicated that general and regional elections can be expected any date subsequent to November 14.
