An American woman, who was found with cocaine hidden in 10 pairs of shoes at the Cheddi Jagan Airport, was yesterday sentenced to a four-year prison sentence.
Magistrate Sueanna Lovell handed down the sentence at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court, after Nakeia Slade, 30, pleaded guilty to the charge of possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking. A $300,000 fine
