John Lewis Styles to relocate on November 1

John Lewis Styles will relocate to its new store at 186 Waterloo Street, South Cummingsburg, Georgetown on November 1 where there will be larger aisles and more space to browse as well as secure parking in the compound.

According to a press release, the new building is located between Quamina and Church Streets and will offer a better display of merchandise, new brands and product lines and air conditioned shopping as well as more dressing rooms.

The store has outgrown its present location as it continues to offer more brands and product lines, the release said.

Meanwhile, John Lewis Styles celebrated its 8th anniversary last Monday.

The release said that over the past four years John Lewis Styles has donated a total of $2,500,000, inclusive of this year’s contribution, to five NGOs – Guyana Relief Council, Kids First Fund, NCN Radio’s Needy Children’s Fund, The Ptolemy Reid Rehabilitation Centre and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Georgetown.

In 2007 the enterprise had selected the five NGOs that it strongly admired to be the recipients of an annual donation of $100,000 each, totaling $500,000.

The enterprise said it recognizes the hard work and dedication each of the organizations’ exhibits on all projects and is pleased to be associated with their efforts.
