Fourth man remanded over Bourda Market hold up

A miner who allegedly snatched in excess of $1M at Bourda Market during a hold up was yesterday remanded to prison when he appeared at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.

It is alleged that on September 23, 30-year-old Kelvin Singh while being armed with a gun robbed Indira Dhandoo at Bourda Market of three cellular phones valued $120,000, a quantity of gold jewellery worth $300,000 and $1,000,000 cash and also on the same day he relieved Mohammed Ameer Kareem of one Blackberry cell phone valued at $150,000.
