Shot doctor’s condition stable

Jamaica-based Guyanese doctor Linden Lord, who was shot by bandits outside his home in Mandeville, Manchester is in a stable condition.

The man’s condition is all his relatives were willing to divulge when contacted yesterday.

Lord had just exited his car and was about to enter his house at minutes to seven on the night of October 14, when he was approached by armed men. He was shot once in the head.

The 45-year-old doctor has been residing in Jamaica for approximately 12 years with his wife Carol Rollox Lord and their two children.
