(Barbados Nation) Patrina Lord was strangled to death.
This was the main finding of a post-mortem carried out on the body of the 31-year-old woman yesterday, as a former schoolmate and family friend appeared in court charged with her murder.
The accused man, 30-year-old Mark Stevenson Owen Headley, of First Avenue, Rock Dundo, St James, attended Alexandra School, along with Patrina and her twin sister Patricia.
Their friendship continued way past school but has now ended tragically with Owen appearing before Magistrate Graveney Bannister in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court accused of killing the Lodge Terrace, St Michael woman, whose disappearance on November 2 made headline news over the last week.
