Agricola man threatened his wife – court told

Sean Williams was yesterday placed on $10,000 bail after he appeared before Magistrate Sueanna Lovell at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court to answer the charge of threatening behaviour.

The allegation is that on November 16, at Lot 129 Agricola, the accused threatened his wife Patrica Williams whereby a breach of the peace might be occasioned. The man pleaded not guilty to the charge when it was read to him.

In presenting the facts, Prosecutor Neville Jeffers told the court that prior to the day of the incident the VC packed her belongings and moved out from the house.

On the day in question the woman received a text message from her husband threatening her.
After relating the facts the prosecutor had no objection to bail and the man was told that the matter will be adjourned until February 7 for report and fixture.
