President Donald Ramotar has sent a message of gratitude to all who turned out to exercise their franchise on November 28 and promised that he will work with all Guyanese so that the country can realise its potential.
According to the Government Information Agency he said the recently held general and regional elections have emphasized and preserved the democratic gains of the country and demonstrates the confidence of the populace to democracy.
“Allow me this opportunity to say thank you for participating in the democratic process as our young nation continues on its developmental path. Guyana has a proud history of people working together with the resilience to overcome difficulties,” President Ramotar said, according to GINA.
