The police say they are investigating a fatal accident that occurred at about 0200h today at Second Avenue, Bartica, and which resulted in the death of Clarence Jordon, 24 years of Second Avenue, Bartica, and injuries to Chavez Garcia, 20 years of Third Avenue, Bartica.
Police say that investigations revealed that Jordon was driving his motor car PKK 5278 along the roadway when it is alleged that he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the rear of a parked motor lorry.
Both Jordon and Garcia, who was an occupant of the motor car, suffered injuries and were taken to the Bartica Hospital where Jordon was pronounced DOA, while Garcia has been admitted a patient.
