Father of nine gets four years for drug trafficking in North West

A 50-year-old father of nine yesterday pleaded guilty to the charge of possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking and was sentenced to four years imprisonment and fined $30,000 at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.

On Monday, in the North West District, Garfield King had 105.5 grams of cannabis along with 8.3 grams of cocaine in his possession.
