Male medical wards relocated to new facility – GPHC

The Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) announces that the Male Surgical Wards 1 and 2 have been relocated to the first floor of its new in-patient facility.

In a press release, the GPHC management said the wards were relocated on December 7. The hospital believes that the new wards will allow its patients to experience the comfort and improved ambience of this facility, like their female counterparts. The wards had previously been located in the building adjacent to the Ambulatory Care and Diagnostic Centre.

The hospital also reminds relatives and visitors that visiting hours weekdays are from 1 pm to 2.30 pm and from 5 pm to 6.30 pm. Visiting hours for holidays and weekends are from 11 am to 5 pm. Visitors are prohibited from taking any food or drink, or linens, that is bed sheets, pillows/pillowcases, into the facility.
